Are You Becoming Immune to the Impact of the Word?

God answers us when we call Him. Many a times when we see, hear and feel certain things time and time again it looses to leave impact on us for which it was intended in the first place. Though be it accidents, doctors or nurses, when they see gory scenes of grisly accidents, don't feel the way we feel. The ISIS don't feel the  way we do when either of us inflict pain on others. We, with time, grow immune to all feeling and emotions that events and words wanna communicate to us. This is what happens with many of us who are Christians for significant amount of time. This is where we loose faith in God and prayer and don't realise its about us. And this works same as the human body immune system that, if functioning perfectly, does not let anything attack/influence it from outside.

We have the privilege of listening God's word so often than the most of the Christians in some part of this same world. But we have grown to become immune to what it actually wanna influence us with. Because this is where all danger lies of not realising the value of what comes free to us in abundance (Air, water, etc). North America had enough and lost it finally, Europe had enough of it and lost it. Now we are at the verge of loosing it, only if we don't see how far we have come in making our self immune to the instructions of the word of God; 

-Growing in Faith, 
-Growing in Prayer, 
-Moral living, 
-True Worship, 
-Maintaining an intimate relationship with God,
-Securing our hearts from evil thoughts 
-Sharing gospel
-Suffering for Christ and so on. 

We think these are just saying to be said to others and not doings to be done by anyone, such is the extent of our immunised self to the basic demand  of the scriptures. 

Let's call God once again with the faith that He would hear us !!!
